01 — Assessment

Through initial interviews of family we will compile a comprehensive profile to create an understanding of your family’s needs. The assessment process includes careful evaluation of your child’s profile to fully understand their needs academically and extracurricular..
Gathering of pertinent data allows me to create a profile for you which is crucial to finding the right opportunities for your child and family. Once we have a clear and accurate understanding of your family’s needs, we work in partnership with you to determine the best-match from the many out-of-home programs, services, and schools available.

02 — Placement & Action

After completing a comprehensive assessment of your family’s needs, we provide you with a list of schools, community programs, and activities that best fit your family’s needs.

Initially, we may recommend short-term programs. This allows for further evaluation of your family’s needs allowing for a richer assessment and a smoother transition into a long-term school or program.

Along with developing an overarching action plan in collaboration with you, we will provide key services during this stage of consulting, including guiding you through admissions procedures, youth and adult activity programs, and assistance with any transitions.

03 — Monitoring and Support

The bulk of my work is spent ensuring families are satisfied and comfortable with the school and program of their choice. During this phase, we engage in periodic check-ins with your family, evaluating student and family progress and advocate on your behalf when needed.

04 — Cost

Cost varies from family to family dependent on the breath of services provided. Understanding you will place an additional investment in the recommended school and program, we aim to work with your family to ensure we can come to an arrangement that is equitable.
